'Chelle Rawlings MBACP, FdSc, BSc (Hons)

Noun: therapy;

/'θÉ›rÉ™pi/

Meaning: treatment intended to relieve or heal

Origin: from Greek word therapeia 'healing'

Hi! - I’m ‘Chelle, and I’m a professional, warm and genuine therapeutic counsellor.

No matter what you are facing, I will provide you with a safe, warm and confidential space for you to explore the issues concerning you, enabling you to have freedom of expression without fear of judgement.  My aim is to offer you a kinship which allows and supports your transformation, growth, and personal development, in whichever way you feel is right for you.

My therapy style is integrative, meaning it consists of adapting my approach to your individual needs.  I do this by using my foundation of training in psychodynamic and person-centred theories, whilst also incorporating other modalities.

I have therapy spaces in both Worcester and Redditch for face-to-face counselling for adults; either individually or as couple/relationship work.  Additionally, I offer Eco (Walk & Talk) therapy for individuals who may prefer an outdoor setting. *

Working together, we can bring self-awareness and an understanding of your feelings and experiences, and how this may be affecting your current relationships.  By doing so, this will help facilitate emotional relief and will support you on your therapeutic journey.

*Online & Telephone spaces are also available on request.

THERAPY FOR YOU

With a degree in Therapeutic Counselling, and working toward my BSc (hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy, I am able to accommodate Individual, Relationship/Couple and Family therapies and am able to offer a furry woofer type friend at no extra cost at the Worcester suite.  'Scooby' is currently in training for Therapy Dog status and his presence during sessions has helped clients access repressed emotions.

Being a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) means I adhere to their ethical framework when working, to ensure good practice and your utmost best interests at all times.

I have experience of working with clients online, by telephone and in person and am affiliated with The Sandycroft Centre in Redditch, supporting adults with complex issues such as victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence, substance misuse, and other childhood related trauma.  In addition, I have experience of working with a diverse range of issues including but not limited to;

  • Anxiety (GAD, Social, Health)

  • Depression & Low Mood
